Yearlings are those who are no longer pups but awaiting adulthood and start to be considered such from the age of ten months. At this time they may begin accompaning adults on hunts, participating in spars and the like. They may also begin training for a rank by shadowing a member who currently holds the rank, or asking the Alpha(s) to assist in training them if no other wolf currently holds the rank they want.
