The strongest, most cunning wolves assume the rank of Guardian - Pack Soldiers. Guardians are the pack's first line of defense against any sort of threat. Though the entire pack may participate in a confrontation, it is the Guardians job to be the first on the scene and to distill the threat as soon as possible.
